Home Office/Living Room
Multifunctional spaces are the secret to a successful small apartment lifestyle. This room, for example, is a living room, dining room, and small home office all in one. This room demonstrates that a 30′′ vast space is sufficient for an office! What a fantastic idea for a small home office.
Small Home Office with Walk-In Closet
This is a fantastic way to turn unused storage space into a functional home office! If your home has a walk-in closet or a den, you can easily convert it into a small home office, as this family did! (Let’s face it, it’s probably a storage closet full of stuff you don’t need.) Unless your walk-in closet/soon-to-be home office has a window, I recommend sticking to light paint colour. You may also think of replacing the door with a glass panel door or eliminating it. Let’s face it, and no one wants to operate in a pitch-black dungeon with no natural light!
The idea for a Home Office in a Little Nook
This home office nook is one of my favourites. The combination of the floating desk and matching floating shelves, as well as the vertical shiplap, is truly magical. This idea for a tiny home office is fantastic! Every house has at least one uncomfortable nook that can be easily converted into a small home office like this one. Using a contrasting backdrop, such as Maryann’s vertical shiplap, is essential for creating a given space and focal point in your home office.
Tiny Home Office Nook in Neutral
This adorable neutral office nook, which can be found here, is a great way to make use of wasted space. If you want your tiny home office to blend in, a neutral colour scheme is a way to go. A chunky floating desk with a matching floating shelf is one of my favourite combinations.
Home Office Study Closet
Consider converting a closet if none of the home office ideas for small spaces I’ve shared so far is working for you. That’s right! A cabinet can be transformed into a fully functional small home office! If you want to lock it away at the end of the day, this is a brilliant idea. Shut the doors. Fantastic! This new masculine workspace, found in Home and Garden, is ideal. Personal touches, such as hanging artwork and incorporating a fun lamp, are two of my favourite things to do.
A View From Your Home Office
I tried everything I could to put my home office desk next to a window in my 900sf apartment, but it just didn’t work out. That’s why I’m envious of Ashley’s teeny-tiny home office. Take a look at the window! Natural light is one of my favourite things, and I believe it is vital for productivity and motivation! All in Ashley’s tiny home office was made by her, including the floating desk.
